The following activities and classes are offered for the enjoyment of Chickasaw residents and their families. We are offering a wide range of activities for all ages, which we hope will meet the recreational needs of the community.
Fees: Class fees are kept to a minimum. No refunds will be considered after the second meeting.
Registration: You may register for any activity at Charles E. McConnell Civic Center. To register by telephone please call 452-6462/452-6467. Register early to ensure your place.

Seniors and Lower Income Families – The United Way of Southwest Alabama
will again prepare simple Tax Returns for qualified persons. Please call 219-0606 to schedule appointment. Service will begin on February 5th at the Chickasaw Community Shelter. Appointment required.
City Spring Clean Up
Make plans for Saturday (week before dumpsters will be placed) March 21 to spring into clean up. Dumpsters will be placed at east side Legg Park, Community Shelter, Chieftain Way, 500 block Thompson Blvd, and tires/dried up paint cans can be dropped off at Maintenance Dept. Chickasaw Youth Co-Ed Softball League
Boys and girls begin this spring, so call now to begin registration.

All children are invited to parade. Age babies to 6th grade. Participate by decorating strollers, bicycles, tricycles, or wagons. Meet in parking area to begin.

Chickasaw Chamber of Commerce
Meets on the third Thursday of each month and would encourage residents and businesses to come be a part of the business community. Topics of interest will be presented each month.

Christian Book Club
This is a new year and a time to grow. This book club focuses on self-improvement books geared
towards renewing the mind and thinking in a better way. The first book to be read will be Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. If you are desiring to gain better self-esteem, confidence, positive thinking, and a greater relationship with God, join us. Saturday’s 6-7:30 pm

Strength & Stretch Exercise Class
