The City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month in the courtroom, located inside City Hall at 7:00 p.m.
(Due to COVID-19 the council meetings have been changed from in-person meetings, located in the City Hall Courtroom, to Zoom meetings. The Zoom meetings are recorded and published for viewing after each council meeting. Please check out the City of Chickasaw YouTube channel! Citizens needing to address the Mayor/Council are encouraged to submit a “Written Inquiries for the Council” form to the City Clerk, no later than the Thursday before each council meeting. Councilman Adam Bourne is a lawyer, a former civil division manager for Sheriff Sam Cochran and a former Alabama assistant attorney general. A longtime community volunteer, Bourne previously served as chairman of the Chickasaw Commercial Development Board and as a member of the Chickasaw Library Board. Bourne is an advocate for high quality public education and strong public safety services. Bourne is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
