Adam Bourne

Councilman Adam Bourne is a member of the Chickasaw United Methodist Church, a University of Alabama graduate, a lawyer and a former Alabama assistant attorney general.

Bourne is the Council's representative to the Chickasaw Library Board and serves as the Council's finance chairman.

Prior to taking office as a councilman, Bourne was chairman of Chickasaw's Commercial Development Board and was vice-chairman of its Industrial Development Board.

Bourne is a Certified Municipal Official ("CMO"), having taken more than 40 hours of coursework from the Alabama League of Municipalities. 

Bourne is married to the former Jenny Parker, who is a public school teacher and vice chair of the Chickasaw Historic Commission.
